Spotlight, the industry-leader in analyst relations, partnered with Agency 39A to enhance their Oz Analyst Intel platform. Challenges
Key challenges included optimizing the platform's navigation and user flows to better support both internal and external Analyst Relations (AR) professionals who rely on Oz for real-time data and insights. The project also called for designing a seamless client onboarding experience, enhancing self-service tools, and creating clear paths for users to capture and share analytics within their teams. Essential for Spotlight’s long-term success is the platform's ability to meet these unique needs, particularly of those engaging directly with clients.
Solutions
Agency 39A collaborated closely with Spotlight’s engineering team, starting with comprehensive user research, heuristic evaluations, and stakeholder interviews to inform the design process. By conducting thorough testing on each page and screen—including focus groups and feedback sessions with employees at all levels—Agency 39A developed a flagship design, responsive UI components, and a detailed clickable prototype. With parallel UX and product sprints, design integration, and a user-focused approach, the team delivered deployable improvements that aligned with Spotlight’s strategic goals.
