Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of complex programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company strategy.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, communicate progress, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor program performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of program management processes and methodologies within the organization.
- Active involvement with all aspects of the work: monitoring day-to-day activities of the project team and ensuring work is progressing as planned.
- Managing schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon.
- Actively monitoring project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
- Consistently identifying needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
- Partnering with project team leads to present work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience managing interactive projects from discovery and design to technical development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, able to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar.
- PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications highly desired.
- Experience managing project teams of 3-5 people in an agency environment
- Keen sense of UI and UX design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
- Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies
- Understanding of business and functional requirements
- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion
